MIDYEAR UPDATE FROM THE CHAIR

Lindsay Fitzgerald is Chair of the Low Carbon Fuels Coalition and Chief Advocacy Officer at Gevo.

The summer lull is always a good time to reflect on where the LCFC has been and where we're headed.

2026 has so far been a net win. New Mexico's program coming online and Hawaii's bill getting across the finish line guarantee that. But there have been new challenges amidst a tough political climate, and things are about to look very different after the midterms.

I'm confident that the Coalition will adapt and continue its success, thanks to YOU, our dedicated members and allies.

We are excited to announce the 12th annual Low Carbon Fuels Coalition Membership Meeting in Washington, DC on Tuesday, November 10.

The program will start with continental breakfast, and a general overview of LCFC activities open to all members and prospects, followed by in-depth conversations and 2027 strategy development and lunch for Voting and higher-level members only. We will conclude with a meeting of the elected 2027 LCFC Board of Directors.
